SO GOOD! This was my second time eating here and I’m so glad I gave it a second try. The pizza was amazing! We ordered their two most popular pizzas: the Fungus Among Us (mushroom heavy) and the Standard Bearer (spicy with soppressata). Both were outstanding with individually unique flavors that I had never had before. In addition, they brew their beer and cider in house, so I would recommend trying one of those. The service was top notch, especially our waiter Jeffrey who was very friendly and knowledgeable. If you’re looking for delicious, one of a kind pizza I would highly recommend DryHop Brewers!
We absolutely loved this place! We stayed overnight in Chicago and ended up going here twice we liked it so much. My husband is a beer drinker and he really enjoyed the flight. I had their Moscow Mule and it’s honestly the best one I’ve ever had. When we came back a second time we had dinner and their pizza is legit. We also got the Kale Caesar (added chicken) and I ate every bite. Wish we lived closer we would go here all the time.
Our son had the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich and fries- he devoured it and said it was amazing!! My husband and I had the Standard Bearer and Back of the Yards with no sausage and they were both awesome! The pizza sauce is barely sweet which was perfect and they had cup pepperoni which is always a win with my husband. Beer? Fantastic! I had the Zombie Prom and my husband had the Dopesmoker- big fans of both!! Awesome service at about 5PM on a Saturday. By 6:30PM though? Full house. Get there early!i
Dry Hop has got a huge variety of beers, with our favorite being the beer flight to try them all! Their wine and cocktail selection was limited, and we ordered the Moscow mule that had far too much lime juice, and we had to it send back. Aperol spritz was good though. I’d recommend sticking with beers as that’s their specialty!
Overall food was good! We enjoyed their burgers, fire oven pizzas, and Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Unfortunately, the staff got our pizza order wrong and we had to wait for a new order to be put in. Could be because there’s a lot of diners so orders may have gotten mixed up.
That said, ambiance is great, super fun bar experience, and great for beer lovers!
Sat at the bar, tried the IPAs on rotation - pretty good and had the Mushroom Pizza that was thin crust and might not have been cooked through as the cheese was watery runny in the middle. Multiple seating area inside & outside on the sidewalk. Good service.
Overpriced pretentious place with snooty service. We ordered the Standard Bearer Pizza and it came out watery and completely burnt underneath. Of course the servers did not even bat an eye. I’ll never come here again. Very disappointed. Nearly $70 for this and 2 drinks? Go somewhere else. There are cheaper way less pretentious pizza places.
Beer has a lot of flavor, seems to rotate pretty often. Plenty of styles and hops. Nice outdoor tables and inside seating, plus the halfway seats in the large open doors. Food is pretty good. The kale salad is really good. Fried pickles very good. I wouldn't order the pizza again, too soggy and floppy. Service is friendly and prompt. Will definitely keep going back for beer and to try the sandwiches.
Good food and atmosphere. We had the olives and nuts, Nashville chicken sandwich and chicken salad. Both were good.
